We are delighted to share the entry form for the 2024 Veterans Competition, held in the National Piping Centre, McPhater St in Glasgow on 6th December 2024.
Rules :
• All competitors must be over 60 on the day of the competition. Pipers currently competing in open competition are not eligible to enter.
• The performance must be between 6 and 10 minutes, which is to include events 1 & 2 and tuning time.A competitor may wish to only compete in events 1 & 2 in which case that should be intimated at the time of entry.
• Time starts when the pipe is first struck.
• Entry numbers may be restricted due to time constraints (The exact number will be decided by the committee and priority will be given to SPA members).
• For the first time in the history of the event, it will be open to non-members who will be required to pay a non-member levy.
Entry Fee:
Payable before the competition starts on the night. Members : £2.00
Non-members: £5.00
